ThriveBY Counseling LLC was founded by Beau Young, MA, LPC in 2025. Beau is licensed as an LPC in the states of Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Beau earned his Bachelors of Science in Sociology from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 2018. He then returned to Kutztown to complete his Masters of Arts in School Counseling in 2022. Throughout the course of his post-graduate education, he worked with a variety of clients in the home, school, and community settings. He has spent the last 3 years working in a group private practice with individuals and families from various backgrounds, before transitioning to own his own practice.

He strives to provide a supportive, safe space for clients, where they can become their best selves and feel validated in their experiences. As a therapist, he hopes to help clients gain perspective on their individual situations and create a plan to achieve personal goals.

He works with a diverse set of therapeutic tools & use techniques from a variety of theoretical orientations to form an individualized plan of action for each client that he works with. Generally, he employs techniques mostly from CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and person-centered therapy.

He adapts his therapy to fit you, whether you need someone who is supportive, challenging, humorous, or willing to dive deeper than you’ve gone before - he’s got you covered!
